Mortgages

Welcome to CharterWest Mortgage Center!

Mortgage lending is a new section of our company, which allows us to greatly expand our services to our customers.

In May 2005, we acquired the Nebraska division of Major Mortgage. We gained staff members whose loan experience totals hundreds of years. Whatever your need might be, we are able to provide expert, experienced service from our talented team.

We are now able to offer many types of mortgage loans to our customers at competitive prices. We can help our customers with no-down/low-down payment loans, government loans (FHA, VA, USDA/RD), first/second mortgage combinations, first-time buyer loans, and loans for individuals with less than perfect credit.

For your convenience, we have offices in ten communities throughout Nebraska . In this section of the Web site, you’ll find out how to contact loan officers at our different locations. You will also find explanations of the types of loans we offer. You’ll even find a mini loan application that you can email to us. Give us a call! We would love to help you with your lending needs.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.
For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
