These terms of use govern social media sites managed by CharterWest Bank. By accessing or using our sites, you agree to be bound by these terms, all applicable laws and regulations, any applicable CharterWest Bank policies or guidelines, and the terms and guidelines established by third-party platforms that host our sites. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use or access our sites.

Accessing CharterWest Bank social media sites does not create an agency, employment, customer, advisory, fiduciary, or contractual relationship between you and CharterWest Bank, nor do these terms extend rights to any third party.

No confidential, personal, account, loan, card, tax, or banking information should be shared through public posts, comments, reviews, or direct messages. Any such information may be removed upon discovery. For account-specific assistance, contact CharterWest Bank through an approved secure channel.

CharterWest Bank may remove, hide, restrict, report, or otherwise moderate content that is offensive, obscene, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, spam, malicious, fraudulent, off-topic, non-constructive, political or religious advocacy unrelated to the Bank post, a personal attack, confidential, infringing, or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the site or applicable law.

CharterWest Bank will not remove comments solely because they are negative or critical. However, comments that violate these Terms of Use or present legal, privacy, security, or safety concerns may be removed or restricted.

CharterWest Bank may block or restrict repeat offenders or users who violate these Terms of Use.

CharterWest Bank may post photographs or videos taken at Bank-sponsored or community events. CharterWest Bank will not intentionally tag individuals in photos or videos without permission.

To request removal of a photo or video from any CharterWest social media site, please download and complete the Use of Photo/Video form from the Bank’s website. Send the completed form to media@charterwest.com or bring it to your local CharterWest location. Email is not a secure method of communication and should not be used to provide personal, non-public information.

The materials on CharterWest Bank social media sites are provided for informational purposes only. CharterWest Bank makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and does not warrant or make representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, or completeness of the materials on its sites or on external sites linked from its sites.

CharterWest Bank does not endorse user-generated comments, reviews, links, or viewpoints unless posted by an authorized representative of the Bank in an official capacity. User comments are the views of the commenter alone and do not constitute an official position of CharterWest Bank.
