About Me

For the past eight years, Kerri has been helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. Her journey into mortgage lending began after working with Mortgage Loan Advisor Sheree Forgue (a CharterWest MLO) during her own home loan experience. Inspired by the process and eager to help others, she joined the mortgage industry as an assistant and has been passionate about serving clients ever since.

Specializing in first-time homebuyers, Kerri believes a mortgage is about much more than financing a home, it’s about helping people build a strong financial future. She takes the time to understand each client’s long-term goals, treating them as more than just a transaction. Her advice is simple: think of your home as an investment. Making extra principal payments whenever possible can help build equity faster and create lasting financial benefits.

Outside of work, Kerri and her husband of nearly 25 years enjoy life as empty nesters after raising two successful children. Their three dogs now keep the house full, and they’ve recently taken up beekeeping, which she describes as a rewarding learning experience every day. She’s also passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer work with the McCook Chamber, helping support the town she proudly calls home. Before finding her career in mortgage lending, her original dream was to become a veterinary technician.

Whether she’s helping a first-time buyer or a returning homeowner, Kerri’s goal is to build lasting relationships and help clients achieve long-term financial success, not just get them to the closing table.
