Grand Island native Amy Otto has spent more than 25 years in the mortgage industry, building a career centered on helping individuals and families achieve homeownership. Her journey began after purchasing her first home, when the loan officer who handled her mortgage, and later became her mentor, invited her to join the team as a processor. Over the years, Amy has gained extensive experience and developed a reputation for providing honest guidance, personalized service, and unwavering support throughout the homebuying process.
Amy specializes in helping first-time homebuyers with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, but she also enjoys working with returning clients as they move into the next chapter of homeownership. She believes in being upfront with her clients, creating a plan when they’re not quite ready to buy, and celebrating with them when they achieve their goals. One piece of advice she shares with nearly every client is to start the conversation early.
Planning ahead, saving where possible, and getting prequalified before house hunting can make the entire process smoother and less stressful.
Known for being accessible and responsive, Amy is committed to making the mortgage process feel easy. She and her team are there to guide clients through every step, offering support whenever it’s needed, not just during business hours.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with their three grown sons and daughter-in-law, and loving on animals whenever she can. An avid animal lover, she hopes retirement will include volunteering at animal shelters. While she considers herself naturally introverted, she thrives in one-on-one conversations and finds the greatest reward in seeing the pride on her clients’ faces when they finally receive the keys to their new home.
