Terms and Conditions
No longer receive paper statements or notices in the mail. Enrollment in CharterGreen paperless banking requires a valid e-mail address and acceptance to receive your documents electronically. A notification via e-mail will be sent detailing the retrieval procedures for your account document(s). Enrollment can be completed at any time from CharterNet Online Banking. Enrollment in paperless banking will cease mailed paper statements or notices for enrolled accounts and notification of document availability will be ONLY via e-mail. To ensure email notifications are received, we suggest adding estatements@charterwest.com to your email address book. Electronic documents will be available for up to 24 months and images of your paper items (i.e. checks) are available online for 18 months. Electronic documents can be printed or saved locally if you need to retain them longer. A modern web browser with PDF Viewer (i.e. Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge) or Adobe Reader* is required to view the documents online.
If you are no longer receiving e-mail notifications, your e-mail address has changed, or in the event you wish to cancel paperless banking, please contact us at 402-372-5147 or Toll Free 1-800-872-5147 or in writing to CharterWest Bank, 201 S Main Street, PO Box 288, West Point, NE 68788. It is your responsibility to keep your e-mail address up to date. You may update your e-mail address via the Profile menu of your CharterNet Online Banking.
By choosing to Enroll in CharterGreen paperless banking you agree to receive your account document(s) electronically and also agree to the full terms and conditions defined in our Electronic Financial Services Agreement. You understand that you must be able to view, retain, and print your document(s) in PDF format. You agree that CharterWest Bank may also deliver other regulatory disclosures/notices electronically. If you do not accept at this time you may choose to Decline or Ask me later or you may enroll at any time via the Profile menu of your CharterNet Online Banking.
CharterWest Bank reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You agree to waive and release any claims against CharterWest Bank arising out of or that may in any way be related to the use of CharterGreen paperless banking, except for those claims resulting solely from the negligent acts or omissions of the Bank. You agree that you are solely responsible for any loss due to use of electronic documents by you, any authorized user, or any unauthorized user or recipient who gains access to your electronic documents through your devices or information obtained directly or indirectly from you. If for any reason the Bank is unable to deliver any statement or notice to you electronically, a paper notice will be mailed to the address of record.
